Needless to say...

I have been so busy, and so tired lately. Work is going well, so far anyways! For those of you who don't know what exactly I do, I will go ahead and explain that now in elementary terms.

I work for a credit card processing company as a Risk Investigator. I deal with merchants on a daily basis. Their accounts get flagged in our system for unusual transactions, and well... we hold their funds. My supervisor then assigns me a case (a business), and I will basically investigate this business and find out everything I can about them. Are they fraud? Are they doing cash advances? What exactly are they doing? I request certain documents for certain situations, and so on so forth. I have learned so much new stuff about the market I am in, and it just amazes me how merchants act. I've only had a handful of merchants "yell" at me, but that comes with this job. I am holding merchant's funds.. At the end of the day, merchants understand our side and why we have to audit them.

Anyways, enough of work.

It is my birthday weekend!!!
I am soooo excited. My birthday isn't technically until Monday, but this weekend is just perfect to celebrate!
Me and a bunch of friends are going to a lounge/club/bar called Cosmolava. It is beautiful on the inside. Just look for yourself! I will be taking lots of photos, and will definitely post a few in a future post.

Other exciting news..
I am going to a concert and it is only my favorite DJ ever,
The concert is on April 14th and me and two good friends of mine will be raving and it is going to be epic. I can't contain my excitement. *Insert sexiness here*

Ahhhh! Loveeeee <3

So that's whats been going on in my life, and what will be going on. I promise, promise to update this more often! :) I had time at work today, so maybe I can post when I have some downtime at work..

Eyelash Tutorial?

I get a ton of comments about my eyelashes in person,
"Are you wearing fake eyelashes?"
"What do you use?"
amongst a variety of other questions.
So my question to those beauty girls out there who read my blog, would you like me to do a tutorial on my eyelashes and how I get them to look the way they do?

I went out last night for a few drinks, and took a few pictures on my webcam (not great quality, but hey, I was in a rush).

Closer up

Spring Trends: Color Blocking

I will be starting a Spring Trends series! *insert hurray*
I love the spring time for a variety of reasons.

1. My birthday (April 2nd, send me gifts! aha.)
2. The weather is perfect.
3. The fashion.
4. The makeup.

The first trend that I think I am really going to love is
Color Blocking!

Color blocking is basically wearing two or more colors that compliment each other.

I love that it is coming back into style for the Spring/Summer season.

Here are a few of my favorite color combinations via:

                              1. Green, Purple, Yellow            2. Pastels                    3. Blue and Yellow

I have been obsessed with all the bright and cheerful colors at Forever 21 lately. I want to buy it all, but I will be a good girl and use the clothes I already have to achieve my version of color blocking. Seems simple enough. :)

Will you try out color blocking this Spring?

Skin Care Routine

I have tried a numerous amount of products, from drugstore to high end, and I can finally say I love my routine. The line I use is the:

Neutrogena Naturals

I wash my face daily and nightly. This is important folks to prevent breakouts!!!

These products have been consistently awesome for my skin. There are three main reasons I love this line.

1. No harsh chemical sulfates, parabens, petrochemicals, dyes, phthalates!
2. Not tested on animals!!
3. It actually removes my waterproof makeup!

Step 1

Product Description: "Completely cleans skin and removes makeup in one step without stripping skin's natural moisture. This Peruvian Tara seed bionutrient rich cleanser leaves skin soft and rinses clean. Developed for gentle eye area."

Sale Price: $6.49

This is HANDS DOWN my favorite face cleanser. It removes EVERYTHING, even waterproof mascara (and we all know I wear waterproof mascara to hold my eyelash curl). I wear a fair amount of makeup so I was surprised that it took off all my makeup with one to two pumps and water. The smell is a nice, fresh scent. This is an excellent product, and not expensive at all.

Step 2

Product Description: "Gently scrubs away impurities and dull, dead skin cells that can build up in pores to improve complexion for fresh, clear skin. Suitable for even acne prone skin. Gentle enough for daily use. Won't clog pores."

Sale Price: $6.49

Can you say best scrub I have ever used? Yes.. This scrub does not feel like sandpaper rubbing on your skin (I hate that feeling). It has a small and refined grain that leaves your skin soft and smooth. If I wanted to skip step 1 and just use this, I could. It makes my skin feel SO fresh, clean, and healthy looking, and my pores don't look clogged either. I will continue to buy this as long as they make it.

Please Neutrogena, do NOT stop making the Naturals line.

Step 3

Product Description: "CLEAN & CLEAR® PERSA-GEL® 10 Acne Medication is a unique formula that goes to work immediately, releasing the medicine deep into the pores where pimples start. This maximum strength Benzoyl Peroxide acne medication is the same prescription formula recommended by doctors."

Sale Price: $6.49

I will use this maybe 3-4 times a week and I swear by this product. I apply a thin layer all over my face, as if you were moisturizing, and it clears my skin up and keeps other pimples from forming. It is a bit drying, but what acne product isnt? Using a benzoyl peroxide medication along with salicylic acid cleanser/scrub works the best for my skin to help clear and prevent cystic acne.

You can find all these products at drugstores near you.

Yay clear skin!

What is your skin care routine? What products work best for your skin?
